What is a certified copy?A “true and correct” copy of the record in Pottawatomie County Register of Deeds office. To be considered certified, it must have the certification seal from the Register of Deeds, along with the date and signature of the elected official. Certified documents cannot be faxed.Charges Documents we mail cost $ .50 per page plus shipping. UCC copies we mail are $1 per page plus shipping. Certification of a copy is $1 per document. Documents we fax are $2 per page including the cover sheet. Plats 11-by-17 or smaller are $5 and plats larger than 11-by-17 are $10 plus shipping.
