What is a certified copy?
A “true and correct” copy of the record in Pottawatomie County Register of Deeds office. To be considered certified, it must have the certification seal from the Register of Deeds, along with the date and signature of the elected official.
You may order documents by mail using this form. Please make your check payable to: Pottawatomie County Register of Deeds. Certified documents cannot be faxed.
Documents we mail cost $ .50 per page plus shipping. UCC copies we mail are $1 per page plus shipping. Certification of a copy is $13 per document. Documents we fax are $2 per page including the cover sheet. Plats 8 1/2 by 14 or smaller are $5 per and plats 11-by-17 and larger are $15 per page plus shipping.
