Due to the rains this week the re-opening of Dyer Road will be delayed. Dyer Road will remain closed until the end of the day on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
Related to Dyer Road: The spillway bridge on Highway 13, will be reduced to one lane on April 12 and 13, 2021 for inspection of the bridge.
Work on the Dyer Road project has progressed to a phase that requires closure of the road. Dyer Road will be closed starting March 29, 2021 to install 2 crossroad pipes. The road will be closed between the north entrance to The Little Grill and the entrance to the Spillway Cycle Area. The park entrance from Dyer Road to Beach Road will be closed as well. A marked detour for Dyer Road traffic will be provided. Weather permitting, work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on April 9, 2021. Motorists traveling to The Little Grill will need to use the detour as the closure will not allow access from Hwy. 13.
