Highway 24 and Green Valley Road Construction

The left eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 24 have been reopened. The full length of one of the left turn lanes for eastbound Highway 24 at Green Valley Road has been opened as well.

Traffic on Green Valley Road has been shifted onto the new lanes between Grouse Circle and Highway 24. Green Valley Road remains open to traffic in both directions, however, the right northbound lane of Green Valley Road will remain closed to traffic with cones directing traffic through the work zone. This lane closure is to allow for work along the east side of Green Valley Road.

The traffic light cycles will be refined in the next 2 weeks as the remainder of the signal devices are installed.

Beginning Monday, March 21, 2022, Highway 24 will be reduced to one lane in each direction. The left lanes of both eastbound and westbound Highway 24 will be closed from Scottie Lane to Green Valley Parkway (entrance to the business park).

The lanes are being closed to allow for work to install a storm sewer in the median and construct dual left turn lanes for eastbound Highway 24 at Green Valley Road.

A left turn lane for eastbound Highway 24 at Green Valley Road will be provided during this phase of construction.

This phase of construction is expected to be completed in 6 weeks, weather permitting.
