Purpose of the Program
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Clinic is a USDA federally funded program that provides nutrition education and food to income eligible, pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants and children up to 5 years of age.
Eligibility is determined by income guidelines, being a Kansas resident, and being determined by WIC staff to have a medical or nutritional need.
There are no fees for this service.
Enrollment / Appointment Process
Call the Riley County Health Department at 785-776-4779, ext. 247 to make an appointment to process your application and questionnaire. You will need to complete nutrition counseling, hemoglobin, height, and weight exams.
