Purpose of the Program
The Toenail Clinic provides toenail care and educational information on proper foot care. Clients are assessed by a nurse to obtain medical history and determine individual need. Physician referrals are made for those in need of medical care. Client's feet may be soaked in warm water prior to or during the visit, and toenails are trimmed and filed by staff. Clients will then be scheduled for routine appointments to ensure continuity of care.
