Purpose:
To provide toenail care and education for foot health. |
Description:
Clients are assessed by a nurse to obtain medical history and determine individual need.
Physician referrals are made for those in need of medical care. Client's feet may be soaked in warm
water prior to or during the visit, and toenails are trimmed and filed by staff. Clients
are given educational information on proper foot care, and are scheduled for routine
appointments to ensure continuity of care. |
Eligibility:
Any individual that has a need for assistance with foot care, due to physical or mental impairment.

Based on income eligibility guidelines, according to current county policy. |
Hours: Vary according to Pottawatomie satellite clinics. |
Locations: Locations within Pottawatomie county. |
